The Elizabeth Lane Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to create a vibrant school community by supporting our teachers, staff, students, and families.  The goals of our local PTA chapter are guided by the overall mission of the National PTA and North Carolina PTA (NCPTA), which is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.  Our local chapter supports our teachers and administrators, and advocates for our children through communication, parent and teacher involvement, cultural programs, family and community events, and fundraising activities.

The ELE PTA has an active and dedicated group of volunteers who support this mission, with several volunteers serving as elected officers and committee coordinators.  You can find a list of the current members of the Board of Directors as well as committee coordinators on our PTA Board and Committee Roster.

Any parent, grandparent, or community member is welcome to join the ELE PTA. Memberships can be purchased on the PTA Membership Form. We encourage you to join our PTA and actively participate in our programs, events, and committees. Visit our Get Involved page to find out how!
